Jacob Cass is one of my favorite graphic designers. Although his online portfolio is minimal and easy to read/understand, his work for other clientele is very detail-oriented, precise, and beyond amazing. The most unique part of his website is the Logo + Brand Identity Design Questionnaire he has on his Hire Me page. He goes into detail by asking the client questions like:
What is your preferred deadline?
Is this fixed or flexible?
Will you be requiring letterhead + business card design?
How many people will be responsible for maintaining the brand identity?
Who is your target audience?
This is a great way to build and establish a quick relationship with the client so that you can know what it is they want and what they’re trying to achieve.
